Author’s Coaching Program

  • The coaching program starts with six Author’s Coaching Sessions (described below) with Ann McIndoo and her team to:
    • Create your Manuscript Grid™ – the structure of your book
    • Create your Trigger Sentences™ – content for your book
    • Create your Storyboard – the visual outline of your chapters, subjects and talking points.
  • The six Author’s Coaching Sessions are live. Recorded versions are available on the Author’s Membership Site.  The six sessions cover the following topics:

Two calls with Ann McIndoo to talk and brainstorm about your manuscript, ancillary products, landing page and online presence. Two brainstorming calls with Nina Hershberger to talk about publishing your book, creating your own magazine, promotion and marketing tools and strategies.

You will receive training, coaching and instructions during each call. You will receive a homework assignment for each session to take you to the next step. All easy and fun. Talk your Book!

Using my successful Writer’s Power Tools, there is very little writing in this process. Once you have created your three powerful components to writing your book, your Manuscript Grid™, Trigger Sentences™ and Storyboard, you will be ready and totally prepared to talk your book.

Here’s how we will “talk” your book:

  • Talk your book with me over the next few months. During the online event, focus on publishing, marketing, promotion and all the other opportunities available via this program. This is a great option if you would like to start generating revenue BEFORE your book is published! Also, you get to talk your book WITH ME! Either live (at my home with me) or online. You choose — it’s me and you!

Preparation of Your Manuscript (After you Talk your Book)

During your Author’s Talk Session, your content will be recorded. These audio files will be transcribed and then transformed into the first draft of your manuscript. This first draft of the manuscript will be formatted into a publisher ready sized manuscript – your choice, as well as receive a Line Edit which includes: spelling, grammar and punctuation. The author will receive this first draft for review to make any additional additions, deletions, edits and changes. Once the first draft is approved and the final edits are made, the final version of the manuscript will be finalized and prepared for publishing.

Publishing

  • Your book will be published by Amazon’s KDP.
  • We’ll set up your own KDP account (if you don’t already have one) and publish your book there so you get all ongoing book royalties.
  • You will receive a Custom Book Cover: Front / Back / Spine, created especially for you.
  • We suggest always having a one sentence testimonial on the cover, and will help you create one.
  • You will receive an ISBN number.
  • We’ll write your book description and bio (if you don’t have one) for you use online, marketing and promotion materials.
  • Interior Layout of your book: You will receive a Professional layout for chapter headings, headers, footers, content and page layouts. You will receive professional guidance to help you with content, design and graphics. The Interior Layout will be prepared for you by a professional designer.
  • We’ll ship you a paperback book proof for final signoff before publishing.
  • Once approved, 25 Soft Cover books will be published and shipped to you!
  • Your book will be listed on Amazon.
  • An Author’s page will be set up on Amazon for you. You can contribute content, photos, videos.
  • Your book will be listed on Barnes & Noble.
  • Your book will be available for worldwide distribution.

Author’s Boot Camp: Online Event

The Online Event will covered in four half-day sessions. Each will be a different topic. The sessions are recorded and you receive access so you can watch whenever and as often as you wish. The content will also be covered in your private Author’s Coaching Sessions with Ann and Nina

Here are the details to our most frequently asked questions about the Author’s Boot Camp.

What do I do first?

Once your turn in your application and are registered for the event, you will be receiving an amazing “Welcome” Author’s package filled with some very cool Author tools and surprises! You will be contacted to set up your first Author’s Coaching Session, as well as a “Prep List” to get ready to start your book!

Do you offer a pay plan or financing?

Yes! You can set up a custom payment plan when you register for the program. Our Accounting Manager, Kristy Poehlman, will work out a great plan that fits your budget. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and wire transfer. We also accept American Express.

What if I miss a session?

No worries! Author Sessions, TeleSeminars and Online Workshops are recorded and available on the Author’s Membership Site. They will remain online and available to you throughout the program and continuing education.

What do I need to bring to the Live Event?

What if there are two of us writing 1 book?

If there are two authors working on one book, there is the Registration fee in full for Author one plus a materials fee to cover everything for Author two.
